Nurses work within divergent clinical contexts. As such, there is no one approach that will effectively support the provision of quality and safe nursing care. This assessment item will assist students in reflecting upon and critiquing the way nursing care is framed within the contexts of care unique to each nurse.

Use the following questions to guide the preparation of your work: What were my perceptions of nursing theoretical perspectives prior to undertaking this unit? What are the key points I have learned from undertaking this unit? In what way can nursing theoretical perspectives inform my practice? Please note: The reflection should use first person pronouns and does not require any referencing. Presentation (5 marks) The paper must adhere to academic standards of writing. Referencing (5 marks) Referencing is to comply with the APA 6th edition standards.
